Delhi Police Exam Syllabus

Exam Pattern for SSC Delhi Police Constable Exam

The Delhi Police Exam is being advertised by Staff Selection Commission based on vacancies intimated by Delhi Police.
Application from candidates will be accepted through ON-LINE MODE only
Physical Endurance (PE) and Measurement Test (MT) will be scheduled and conducted by Delhi Police region-wise at various places in the country. Call letters for PE&MT to candidates will be uploaded by Delhi Police.
The Commission will conduct Computer based written examination of candidates who have qualified in PE & MT
Computer based Written Examination will be in English & Hindi only
The Written exam will be at CBSE 10th level for 80 marks. Retired soldiers exempted from exam, they have to require qualify in PET test.

Physical Endurance Test (Qualifying): Male

Above 40 years 8 minutes 12 feet 3'3"

Physical Endurance Test (Qualifying): Female

Age Race 1600 Meters Long Jump High Jump
Upto 31 years 08 Minutes 10 feet 3'0"
From the age of 31 to 35 years 09 Minutes 9 feet 2'9"

Medical Test

The eyes of the applicant should be free from the color blindness and the minimum distant vision should be 6/12 of the two eyes (Without glasses) Applicant who undergoes Lasik Surgery will be eligible if their eyes found to be normal in the following test:

Contrast sensitivity.
Dim light vision (Mesopic vision)
Glare acuity

NOTE:

Only those candidates who qualify in PE & MT will be allowed to appear in Computer Based Written Examination.

Preparation Tips for Delhi Police Exam
Focus on Speed - In Delhi Police main exam, there are [100] questions in main exam to solve in [90] minutes. So candidates must work on speed to solve questions in allotted time.
Syllabus Awareness - When aspirants start preparing for Delhi Police exam, they must have a clear idea about the aptitude questions asked in Delhi Police exam.
Calculation - Delhi Police aptitude questions need more time in calculation, so candidates have to manage time for answering question and shortlist aptitude questions according to their merit.
